Tenerife Information

Tenerife measures 130km from the east to west coast and 90km from the north to south coast (a total area of 2034 sq km). Tenerife is often called 'paradise island' and for good reason to. Temperatures range between 24-30 degrees. The average daily temperatures reach around 24 degrees in the summer and still a high 18 degrees in the winter. The islands are divided by the mountain range resulting in a hot, dry climate in the south and a cool, tropical paradise in the north.

Tenerife has a very vibrant, rich and varied nightlife all year round, alot of people say the clubs don't come alive until after midnight. There are a wide selection of pubs and clubs, where you can party from dusk til dawn. There are sophisticated restaurants offering relaxed venues for dining and drinking. There are also casinos for those who enjoy a gamble. There are plenty of eating out places in Tenerife too, from fast food to haute cuisine, so much so you will be spoilt for choice. For the more energetic there are ball games, surfing, beach volleyball and many other games to chose from.
